ROI Society runs marketing and lead generation for criminal defense and family law firms, where a missed or mishandled lead can mean a client hiring a competitor within the hour.
The Challenge
Legal marketing for criminal defense and family law lives and dies on response speed and intake quality — leads in this space are often in crisis, comparing multiple firms, and will move on fast if a firm’s intake process is slow or disorganized. ROI Society needed more than a marketing site; they needed the underlying growth infrastructure — CRM automation, intake workflows, and ad campaign tracking — to actually convert the leads their campaigns generated.
What We Built
A marketing site backed by a full growth system, not just a brochure page:
- Conversion-focused landing pages — built for paid campaign traffic in high-intent, high-urgency legal categories
- CRM automation — automated follow-up and lead routing so no inquiry sits unanswered
- Intake workflows — structured processes for moving a lead from first contact to signed client
- Ad campaign infrastructure — tracking and attribution built to tie spend directly to case intake
- Practice-area specificity — messaging and flows tailored separately for criminal defense and family law
Technical Approach
We built the landing pages around campaign-specific intent — a visitor from a DUI ad sees different messaging and a different intake path than one from a divorce ad — rather than funneling all traffic to one generic contact form. CRM automation was wired directly into the intake workflow so lead handoff to law firm staff happens without manual triage delay.
Architecture Decisions
We treated speed-to-lead as the top priority in the system design, since in this category the firm that responds first often wins the client regardless of case quality. Attribution infrastructure was built early rather than added later, since ROI Society’s whole value proposition to law firm clients depends on being able to show which campaigns actually produce signed cases.
Results
ROI Society now runs a marketing and growth system built for how criminal defense and family law leads actually behave — turning ad spend into tracked, fast-responding intake rather than leads that go cold waiting for a callback.
